Hi! I am Amolak. I am fascinated by the connections between quantum information, pure mathematics, and theoretical physics. I spend most of my time thinking about the relationship between these three subjects. Some specific topics I am interested in are quantum error-correcting codes, quantum circuits, quantum Shannon theory, and contextuality. I also like the phrase “physical mathematics.” I understand mathematical ideas best by looking at explicit examples and by trying to express them in words.
